How it works: the CLEAR Method™

Clear Conversation Mastery™ is built around my CLEAR Method™, a practical five-step process I created to help you prepare, deliver and follow through on difficult workplace conversations.

  1. Clarify the outcome you need

  2. Locate the other person’s likely drivers and constraints

  3. Establish an opening that sets the tone without triggering defensiveness

  4. Anchor what you are saying in facts and impact, so you are taken seriously

  5. Request a clear ask, and handle yes, no, or a counter-offer

Programme structure

  • 6 x 75-minute private sessions on Zoom

  • Sessions are usually weekly, but we’ll schedule around real life

  • Completed within 12 weeks of the first session

  • Between-session support (Mon–Fri, next business day)

Your focus inside the programme

We start with the conversation you’ve been avoiding (or overthinking) the most, then use other scenarios to build fluency with the CLEAR Method™.

We’ll prioritise what matters most, so you leave with a repeatable approach, not a pile of scripts.

  • Next business day support (Mon–Fri) via voice note or text

  • Between-session support for quick decision points, wording checks, nerves, and post-conversation debriefs

  • Conversation prep and review between sessions

  • CLEAR Method™ resources, including worksheets and practical tools to help you stay calm under pressure

  • Practice built in, including rehearsal and role-play when helpful

What this is not

This is not a fit if:

  • You want formal workplace advice or representation, rather than coaching

  • You want a purely “talk it out” space with no structure

  • You want results without doing any prep between sessions

This is mentoring and coaching, not HR or legal advice. If your situation involves bullying, harassment, or discrimination, we can still work on what you can control in communication, but you will also need the right formal support alongside this.
